Accelerator is best spent on crafting research tickets in combination with lucky spin tickets and prestige tickets. The rate is PRICEY. You're looking at one every couple hours of efficient farming with completed normal research and all level 1 prestige upgrades. But crafting those research tickets for bit dust drop rate increases and loot frequency upgrades is HUGE in the long term. Each research ticket saves you about 10-20 hours of farming by my calculation...
