You can over-torque with a torque wrench!?

I am over-torquing bolts with a torque wrench! That't the whole point of the tool! For example, the torque wrench will be set to 10nm and will torque past 10nm if you spin it too far after the torque is reached. It should be breaking. The breaking is not always heard and there is no way to know the current torque of a bolt that I am aware of.

A real click type torque wrench will continue to add torque after you hit the click mechanism. A real wrench clicks forward a few degrees before adding additional torque. Since we can't give you tension feedback we make that window way bigger, it is currently about 160 degrees.
