How to Recover Equipment to Garage?

I've been using the Engine Stand and the Crane to remove and work on the bottom-end of an engine. When finished, I chose to "Remove From Garage" from the right-click context menu to reduce clutter and now I don't know how to get them back.
Surely I don't have to buy them again, do I?

Unfortunately, clicking that option removes them from the garage indefinitely with no way to recover them. So yeah, you'll probably have to purchase them all over again.
Essentially it's like throwing them out for scrap.
If it's any consolation I've done the same kinda thing too, as have others, so you're not alone. Luckily mine were only extra lights which weren't too expensive and I could live without anyway.
I'd let you have my engine crane for free if it was even possible... I hate the bloody thing!

Yes, it seems a bit weird that it gives you the option to remove them, but no warning that you're permanently deleting them and will have to re-purchase! I just find the crane clutters up the garage unnecessarily and yes, it doesn't work all that wonderfully well. Personally, I'd prefer an overhead gantry crane.
