Brake hardware not clipping to caliper

Basically title, I can only fit 2 pieces of brake hardware to each caliper in two specific spots. I'm kinda hardlocked from progressing. Am I doing something wrong? Desktop btw

Front calipers I take it?
It's possible you're doing something wrong, yes.
There should be 2x Type 1 and 2x Type 2 hardware on each caliper.
From memory they go at opposite ends to each other and in a diagonal line.

Rear calipers only have one type of hardware but there's two of those on each caliper.

I cover the brakes in my chassis building guide which I'll drop a link to below.
There's also one covering the engine which will come in useful when you get to that stage.

Unfortunately they're both a little out of date again at the mo, but I do plan to try and catch up with all of the latest game updates again when I can which will hopefully bring both guides back up to date again..... until the next game update drops which will mean I have to do it all over again! :D
