First engine removal, and it's on the new chassis
The manual doesn't highlight what I need to do in order to remove the engine from the new chassis. Don't know if it's just me or it's a bug with the update?

I don't think the Exocet has it's own set of manuals yet. However, for the most part it seems to be pretty close to how the Catfish used to be, with just a few minor changes to the routing of some of the pipes mainly, from what I can tell.
Anything particular you're struggling with? I'll see if I can help.

Thanks. It instructed me to remove the V-clamp that's connecting the exhaust flex tube to something else, I think. Can't really remember right now. Since it's my first time trying it out I don't really have a clue on what to look for.

Ok, so first question, is this a turbo model or an N/A model?

Pretty sure it doesn't have a turbo. Couldn't see one at least.

Cool. That helps narrow things down a little. Now I know what engine/exhaust we're using. Well, that V-clamp... you'll find that located at the first joint down from the headers/manifold to where it runs in to the next part of the exhaust system.
You may find it easier to remove the headers/manifold from the head anyway to give you a little more room to lift the engine out. It was possible on the Catfish, but it could also often snag up. For what it's worth, removing it is just easier in my opinion.
The intake tube will also need to come out. The throttle assembly can stay in place, but again you may find it easier to remove it if space is tight.

The top and bottom radiator hoses also need to come off. The rad itself can stay in place though.

You'll also need to remove the transmission. You can leave the clutch in place though. That's fine.
The PPF and the Driveshaft will also need to come out.

From memory, (going by the Catfish) you should be more or less there after that. Just remove the two M10 nuts that hold the engine mounts to the front subframe (found in the cutouts underneath the car, one on each side), and you should be about ready to lift the engine out.

Thank you so much my guy! I'll dive in and give your little tutorial there a go, when I have time. Thanks again!
