Cant manually tighten bolts

Im going through the tutorial and i'm trying to manually tighten the bolts but i can't seem to figure out how. It tells me to just 'move the mouse' and 'press r' but neither of these seem to do anything whenever I have the ratchet selected. The only think i can do is left click on the bolts and then it automatically tightens it. What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem but the left click doesn't work for me either.

Can't seem to tighten anything. The symbol does change for tightening but clicking the mouse left button or pressing R does nothing.

There are two wrenching modes in desktop. With the default mode you click on a fastener and it tightens to the torque the wrench is set to. You can click again to stop tightening it earlier than the target torque.

There is also an option in settings for a "full manual wrenching" mode where you use R for the nut runner (when attached to a bolt) and then move the mouse and the ratchet handle follows.

Both modes provide the same level of control, its just a matter of preference.
