Will it support Quest with a little tweak?

My best mate has his birth coming this May and he just did me a huge favor so I really want gift him a Quest with Wrench since he is crazy about cars. Is it feasible that this game will support Quest with little tweak soon after Quest's release in a development standpoint?
I just want to know the slightest possibility so I can plan ahead. It's really ok if you can't give me the answer to it. Thank you!!

That's a bit doubtful from what I've heard of the quest. It's an all in one headset, so it runs off of assumably phone hardware. If they have support for pc connectivity (not sure if they are going that route or not), then it would probably work the same as an oculus rift. If they don't support it, then you'd be left to using streaming software (never really had a good experience with this on my end).
If you are looking for a good entry level headset, I'd say look into windows mixed reality headsets. I'm currently using the samsung model, and no complaints yet.

Quest is something we are really interested in working with. From our testing, its going to be a lot more than a little tweak and we would need to build a different version of the game around it. Aside from scaling back the detail in the art, with mobile hardware there just isn't a way to get all of the parts of the car on screen at once. Wrench on quest would end up be significantly different. It would probably be more assembly tutorial focused and limit you to working with one sub assembly at time. It also might be necessary to chop two cylinders out of the engine to reduce the total part count.

Oculus store has the engine-building-demo only. That would be a nice teaser to have in Quest, just to show to car-fan friends why they need a proper PC.

Only 99.99999% With the Quest 2. For whatever weird reason, you cam't line up Stainless nuts for the exhaust and Stab Links. It's annoying, but if you load the game up without VR and fasten them, it works. Then you go back in and resume. Will be great when that is fixed.
