Cam Gear Bolts not moving
I was taking the car apart because I couldn't be bothered to figure out what I was actually supposed to be doing. :)

I was trying to remove the cam gear bolts and the cam gears started spinning because I had already removed the timing belt. I put the timing belt back and the cam gear bolts would not budge. I was using the crank holder tool so that nothing would spin. I guess I glitched them? Has anyone been able to remove the cam gear bolts? I am also not able to put the timing gear holder in place.

There's a cam gear locking tool, looks like a v-shape with teeths on the sides, (top left of your tool wheel I think) you can place between both of them before removing the bolts

Not sure, the 1.8i-16v dohc in a Mazda 323 is surprisingly enought not an interference engine. Not sure about this though, but I've rotated one cam (ingame) quite a lot of times without locking anything, and it still worked, so there's that
