How do I make this full screen

So I got a small box that displays the game, how do I make this box full screen?

You need to change the game resolution. When you first start the game go into Options and make the game resolution match your Windows desktop resolution.

The UI unfortunately doesn't scale; BG unit selection, strategic map, etc..

When your in a battle though you will have more of the map displayed allowing you to see longer distances (5 pixels = 1 m).

I have the same problem. Also my videos don't play I hear audio but see nothing.

Not sure why the intro video for you is not showing.

But did want to adjust my comment about scaling as the last LSA patch did add 3 options for scaling under Options / General;
- Scale Front End: in menu screens this will enlarge the UI by 1.5x
- Scale UI: in battle this will enlarge the UI by 2.0x
- Use DPI: this checked along with setting the Windows 10 DPI size will scale everything
