Full Screen

I cannot play the game in full screen. Operating system is Windows 10. Can anyone help?

What are the settings you have applied to the game? What are you seeing onscreen at the moment?

Where do I find the settings? Do you mean the Options for the game?

Yes. The Options button on the main menu, and then the General tab. This has various options for screen control.

OK - and what do you get currently when you run the game - why do you think it is not running full screen?

It may be worth pointing out that the front end UI (main menu, setup screens, etc) will generally not fill the screen (though it can be scaled up to make it easier to read on 4K+ screens). Once you get into battle the full size of the screen is used.

I was playing as an small window as some one said here. (WINDOWS 10)
When I changed the seting to full screen the game crash and now....

The game it is not working at all. Now and I can enter on the options because not work at all.

I reinstalled the game and the problem continues..... ANY HELP PLEASE!!!

I am having much the same trouble--the opening screen is small (OK), but the battle/game screen is as small as the opening one (about 2/3 of a full screen). This makes it difficult to see much to control troop movement.

If you delete the OPTIONS.TXT file in Documents/My Games/CloseCombatLastStandArnhem it should revert back to the default settings.

Do you have your DPI settings at anything other than the default 100%?

I had the same problem. I have a 1080p display with Windows 10 x64 along with a second monitor. I have Last Stand Arnhem v 6.00.02 from Steam. I got it working in full screen mode on my 1080p display by disabling Framed Window. Unlike some modern games, you have to quit out for display options changes to take effect.

In the menu under Options, on the General tab, the settings I was most satisfied with the following:

Screen Resolution 1920x1080, 32bpp, 60Hz
Framed Window: unchecked
Use DPI: unchecked (Not sure what this does - might be for if you have display scaling enabled - try it if you have a 4k display)
Scale Front End: checked (this makes the main menu bigger, though still not full screen)
Scale UI: unchecked (if you enable this, the menus in game are bigger - probably want this on if you have a 4k display)
Lock Mouse: unchecked. (I like it that my mouse can switch between displays easily)

Remember - you always have to quit out of the game completely before these options take effect. Not sure why, but the intro movie doesn't seem to work for me anymore, but the game itself does. Hope this helps.
