Unlockable characters? *spoiler alert*

Googling these games is a pain with all the different versions out there. I can find there are certain versions where Astrid and Esty are playable. I can't find if that is also true for our version right here, nor can I find how to unlock them.

So can we and how do we do that? I'm assuming Tiffani is not unlockable unlike iksel? And Hom probably isn't either?

I just cleared assignment 5.

This version has all the characters. As for unlocking them its usually after seeing certain events and advancing a bit into the story. Some characters like Meruru and Totori for example arent available until you start the post game content

The DX versions of Arland and Dusk are the Plus versions with all DLC integrated

I see, but I've also seen the term 'New Rorona' floating around. It gets confusing.
