How does this compare to Diplomacy is Not An Option?
I love this game and noticed the two games share similarities. Has anyone here played both games?

You actually have a playable character here.
The waves are much smaller, but more potent.
There's more economy to invest in.

I really like DINAO and if its between the two, i give DINAO the edge, but This has a dynasty warriors like vibe the other doesn't. Also this is very basic INDY stuff, not polished, crude. But i love it exactly for that reason.

If you have DINAO and want to try this, i recommend it. Do a playthough on easy first though.

So I have 68 hours in Reignfall now, and I love the game. It is a gem of an indy game. The pacing is nice, and battles are a lot of fun, moving from rts, to controlling a single character is insanely rewarding as a gameplay loop, mixed in with city building and tower defense... yeah, I'm a total fan.

The late game gets a little bit tedious, but not obnoxiously so.

DINAO has me a little hesitant to try it after this experience. I might be hoping for too much from it after how satisfying a surprise Reignfall has been.
