Hit Windows+R.
Type %appdata% and hit enter.
Click the arrow to go back a folder.
Go in Local > Goblinz > True Fear 2 > Profiles
See if anything is still in there. If it is, I'd make a back up just in case and wait to see if it's an issue they address.
And I was on Act 3 - this is so annoying!!

Click on the Finder then go to Go and from there Go to folder and you type this path: Users/[Username]/Library/Application Support
Where I have [Username] you put your username. Once you are on Application Support you go to the Goblinz folder. There is a Steam folder too but under that you can only find the run file from the game (and not the saved profile data). Hope that helps? If not I can send a screenshot.
