Hi again :)
Yes, 1st person makes it way easier to aim at the centre of a 3x3 block of plants. it's best to make your plots a multiple of 3 wide, and however long you want. approach the block from the end facing straight ahead, and shuffle forward with 'w' when the plants closest to you are all watered.
There's one main difference between refilling the watering can in a pond versus a river. You can refill a partially filled watering can in a river. To refill in the pond, the watering can must be completely empty.
That's not true, you can refill your watering can any time you want on your pond, i refill mine all the time on my pond, are you using the first person view to refill it? cuz i can never refill mine on my pond while i'm in third person, try using the first person view.
I've been able to water two bottom/two top plants at the same time with starting can
