%100 GPU Usage
All games made with this damn Unity have the same problem.

Please test with AMD while creating the games, everyone is creating games with Unity but very few people are optimizing.

Moreover, even at low settings and in windowed mode this is bad.
In two minutes, the motherboard gets hot like an oven.

Please stop developing games with Unity. Your game is good but the Unity engine you use ruins the game.

Thanks for your input Serdar. For the the record, the game had an extensive optimisation period. It sounds like your comment might be better directed at Unity rather than us.

Yes, I like the game, but unfortunately I cannot play this way.
Personally, Unity is not just a mobile-friendly, PC-friendly game engine.
Respects.

Your primary issue is with Unity not the devs. American Fugitive has performed very well on my setup - GPU usage sits around 20%. Are you using a laptop by chance? What are your PC specs? Is it an integrated card?

If none of the above, it could be some other hardware issue that's exacerbating this. Check that you don't have a virus (unusually high usage is a sign)

Lastly, I'm no defender of Unity. I've experienced performance issues and/or high GPU/CPU usage in Unity games in the past, so it is thing. Hope you get it sorted out.

I have a i9-9900K/1080ti and was quite surprised to find the GPU working at 100% even when I use a lower resolution of 1440P with vsync on. But when I just changed vsync to 60 fps, the GPU usage went down. Perhaps OP can try. Sometimes game will put vsync as just a boolean for fps capping so I didn't notice the extra options but it appeared to fix the 100% problem.

I open the gane and it crashes with this pop up error "unity 2018.4.2f1_d6fb3630ea75 error", whats the solution to this problem? Thank you

@judgekazi could you send us your output.log please? It's near the saves in Users/[user]/AppData/LocalLow/Fallen Tree Games Ltd/American Fugitive.

You can reach us at info@fallentreegames.com

Often it is related to graphics card drivers, so are you on the latest drivers for your graphics card?
