Does this game have DualSense haptic feedback on Steam or only on PS5?
Not sure which platform to buy it on but if they both support haptic feedback then I'd prefer to play on PC with my PS5 controller.

Thanks for confirming, Roger! Appreciate the effort to keep us updated!

I did some more tests and yes you can get rumble (similar to haptic feedback but I think it's just rumble to haptic motors, slightly more detailed than xbox rumble) with steam input active. No idea why I didn't get this before. In any case it's easy to check because you get feedback when:

- you prepare to throw a weapon
- you charge an attack (it will "tick" like a heartbeat while you keep the attack charged)

In any case no weapon trigger whatsoever.

The controller is recognized both in game and in steam input as dualsense edge. No DSX involved for this.

Weird behaviour in any case...

Doesn't exactly answer my question.

Did you find out about implementation etc?

I just started the game, using a dualsense edge wired. No vibration at all at the moment. I tried also through DSX with XBOX emulation and no vibration there either. I think the game is very shallow in terms of rumble implementation.

Haven't got a gun yet to try adaptive triggers.

If you played the game and compared the different controllers, would be helpful for me to know how well implemented they are for dualsense.

BTW the game is not even listed here so I don't expect much from it

Could you updated us once you've tested it with a gun? Thanks in advance!

Yes absolutely. For the moment no rumble at all with native dualsense edge (also none with emulated dualsense and XBOX controller) but I will test rumble (in the same situations in game) with a real xbox controller and check that first.

Then I don't know how long it takes in game to get to the first gun, but I'll definitely report back.

If no feedback in game is interesting, I'll just play with DSX and audio to haptics.

I don't think you really know the definition of haptic. You're talking about VR games, and this is not a VR game. There can be no sense of touch, whether you use a PC or a console. Your question is completely ridiculous.

Wow you really have no idea about gaming. Haptic feedback is a special "rumble" that Sony introduced with the Dualsense and Dualsense Edge (together with adaptive triggers) and some games implement these features natively. I'm not even going to waste time and explain it to you, I'll let you google it.

Ok I did some other tests but sadly not found any weapon yet. Also, next week I'll be away and I'll have only the Steam Deck so I'll update later than that.

Until now:

- confirmed that XBOX controller has rumble, while Dualsense has nothing (tested on Xbox series x controller)
- managed to get normal rumble on dualsense by emulating xbox controller (worked only wirelessly, no idea why, didn't investigate much further, probably because when wired, the game was still recognizing the controller natively despite emulation on)

Will update again if something happens for the guns. But for sure there are absolutely no haptics involved for dualsense (tried both Edge and normal Dualsense, wired).

Thanks for the detailed update! Looking forward to your experience once you get guns!

Ok I finally got a gun and no, the dualsense has no adaptive trigger function. Maybe the console version has...but on PC I am not getting anything. No rumble, no haptics, no triggers.

You still on that haptic bullcrap? Read a friggin' dictionary! You don't even know the definition of the words that you are using! You make yourself sound like a complete friggin' idiot. Who's gonna listen to a moron? I know of no Steam game that provides genuine haptic feedback! What gawdamned universe do you live in? It's an urban myth, dipsquat! Haptic feedback doesn't exist in any Steam game...or in any other game. What rock did you crawl out from under? Do you just read bullcrap and believe it regardless of just how dumb♥♥♥k it sounds? Jesus friggin' Christ!
