Several very annoying issues....
#Audio#
If you use an Microsoft/Xbox dongle for your headset, you will probably experience a lot of audio cuts/stutters. After experimenting around for a long time, i found that using my headset via bluetooth instead of the dongle reduces this significantly.
But it does not fix it, especially with heavy workloads. What the heck?

#Online#
While we had relatively good experience with someone else hosting, as soon as i hosted the game it was the most horrendous experience for my mates.
Ammo/materials vanishing, clipping, players teleporting, zombies not getting damage...you name it.
Since there are no dedicated servers you might point out my system/connection as the source of the problem.
Well yes but actually no.
Playing the game at 120fps (and probably 1440p) seems to be the problem here. I would have to downscale everything to potato on my end, just to make it playable for everyone else.
(5800x3d, 3080ti and Gigabit connection)

#Game wont start#
the game seems to be linked to epic games launcher, no matter if you own it on steam.
this means there will be always some epic ressources running in the background.
worked fine, until i actually installed the whole epic launcher 2 days ago.
suddenly the game wouldnt start. neither via steam nor the game exe.
UNTIL i manually purged every epic process i could find still running in the task manager.

believe it or not, the second the last task was killed (i closed the program before already) the game started immediately.
that could have taken hours to find out, but thankfully i remembered the recent change and the connection to epic in this matter.

truly astonishing what 80€ can buy you nowadays.

Eighty friggin' Euros? Jeez, you paid way too much.

You're going to experience lag issues in co-op dependent upon bandwidth, hardware, and video processing demand differences. Audio problems can be minimized with hard-wired equipment. In fact, I've found it best not to use any sort of wireless equipment at all—keyboard, mouse, and speakers/headphones—the more "sophisticated" the drivers, the more problems, and don't get me started on gawdamned controllers! If one must use a controller, then play on a bloody console! (I learned the last one at the end of the twentieth century)

i got the gold edition for 20-30 bucks myself. but the listed price should always represent what you could expect from the game.

while i appreciate the time you took
-for me its out of the question to get a wired headset, because a triple A windows game is incompatible with microsoft hardware.

and after digging a little bit more into the problem:
multiplayer sessions tend to lag, if anyone in the party has his fps cap above 60. which for me on a 120hz monitor with suitable hardware is just a downgrade.
this could have been avoided with dedicated servers, imho.

ah and controller plays fine.
