I think it's a very worthy sequel to the original(s). However, I was a little disappointed at not seeing my reflection in mirrors etc, but that's a minor nitpick.
And yes, zombies popping up right in front of you is annoying... and terrifying lol.
I definitely do not regret my purchase, but each to their own.
You are right and ty for correcting me. It is just that steam says it released on 2024 (probably on Steam) and I got the info from there.
There are some things I like better. For example the looting is a lot more convenient, the crafting is cool, and finishers are awesome. I really like the deck skill system as well but the most I like is the art direction and vibe of the game. It's light and fun.
You triggered much? And Dying Light 2 is objectively better in every aspect. But to each their own. You can go suck your thumb now. I suggest behaving better to strangers.
Care to elaborate? I will say this though. The further I progress into the game the more enjoyable it becomes. For some reason the start of the game feels really cheap but later on it becomes better.
bro's thread so goofy i showed to ChatGPT had the AI laughing and acting human fr, at this point, either bro's rlly lacking basic logic or he’s just a hardcore Dying Light die hard fanboy trying hard to trash Dead Island 2, this ain’t even an opinion at this point, sht it’s libel, the only real gripe i’d give is some cringe lines and maybe the ending (depending on taste), like stuff u find in any game, including Dying Light 2, this ain’t critique, it’s full delusion fr.
The only thing that game has going for itself is the parkour, the night mutators aren't worth much to play for, not even the zombie boosts even though they are neat.
The music kills every single song DL2 has, even though there are a few nice that remind me of the first ones OST but then they added the boring orchestra bs in it and now it sounds like almost every other song.
The map in DL2 is just boring to me, the characters aswell and nothing memorable there, let alone the Micropenistransactions almost as greedy as Bandai Namco just needs gambling and the catastrophe is full EA(even though EA got way better with that stuff). The devs of DL2 can't even decide whether the game has a definitive edition now or if they add more ♥♥♥♥ to sell to you, meanwhile I'm fully enjoying the gameplay in Dead Island 2 in the sunset of Venice Beach listening to banger after banger with a good neat card system that I can tailor to my needs.
DI2 optically beets the orange slob DL2 since the art direction is way better and wtf are you even talking about reflections
Is it still the mirror reflection hub here?
Dead Island 2 > Dying Light > Dying Light 2
Might give DL2 another chance if the devs ever come up with a definitive edition.
And as far as I know the title isn't correct unless proven wrong - it was released 2023 first up on Epic Games and then on Steam.
Not saying DI2 is perfect, there's stuff even I dislike like the aim assist you can't turn off completely(yes I know it's in the options but even off isn't off) to even other bugs but I take this any time over DL2.
