Huh? Piggy's Bank is EMPTY? (Clue: This is not valid the FIRST time opening it.)

I thought I'd post this in case someone else had the same experience, but wasn't able to figure out the answer.

This had happened to me a few other times on subsequent playthroughs, but I didn't twig to what was actually happening until today. The first time, Piggy's Bank gave me the Sizzler weapons perk (I had to look it up). Now, while the blueprint suggests that it's melee-specific, it's not; it may be applied to ranged weapons and melee weapons.

Now I know what had happened every time I opened a container and got nothing: I already had it in my inventory; it stayed in inventory from my first playthrough. So, if this happens to you, do yourself a favor and find out what was supposed to be in the container...with a workbench handy, check your inventory. You'll have your answer.

i stopped going back to piggy bank after getting the loot ..

Haus is bugged with the safes ..

piggy is to far away to be going back to an empty safe ..
(ya got me once empty second time)

the house leading to the deeper safe respawns too but at least it's gives you another crossbow ..

piggy stays empty ..
