K Prototype Crossbow (Haus) are you stuck with it forever?

How do you get rid of this thing? The option to drop it is not showing up and you can't disassemble it. I have found a better crossbow and I don't want this thing taking up space in my storage.

I think its the only item in the game that you cannot drop, possibly for the fact that it's the only weapon that destroyes the brains in HAUS, so they probably thought that it wouldnt be a good idea to let you get rid of it in case you go back and can't access an area

If you have a spare Slayer slot, maybe you can create a new one, play the game up to where you have access to the safe, transfer the crossbow to the new character, and then delete them with the crossbow in their inventory (which if this works, should get rid of the undroppable/unscrappable crossbow).
