What the hell is Autophage?
Like the title said, i need to know what the hell the autophage is, is it a skill, or a passive skill, an ability, or a skill card? and what does it have to do with collecting body parts from zombies? I just don't understand it, can someone PLEASE explain this?

Just play the game and you'll get the idea ... eventually.

They're like regular phages, only auto.

Upon progressing the game you'll eventually find numerous skill cards divided into 4 categories; abilities, survivor, slayer, numen. Some of these cards can be regular or unique. Unique cards have white skull icon embedded on it. The more unique cards you use the more zombie-like the slayer is with certain advantages and disadvantages. Highest autophage tier has advantage of longer fury mode while at the same time being unable to regenerate health except through skill card effects. Keep in mind that the slayer is actually immune so equipping cards with autophage icon on it won't affect anything rather than giving pros and cons to the slayer himself. Near the end of game Dr Reuben will explain exclusively about autophage so I won't spoil it for your.

Thank you so much for the explaination. But i was reffering to the specifik ability to harvest zombie organs, and i understand it has something to do with Autophage? Is there a way to harvest more or less organs from zombies, or is it just RNG based? Does different perks on weapons (such as bleed, acid or fire etc) somehow affect if a zombie can or can not drop a piece of meat, or not? And does the ability to harvest organs have anything to do with rage-mode, which autophage cards somehow seem to affect? I think the game does a very poor job of explaining any of this to the player.

Probably RNG. I personally use maiming weapons for easier dismemberment, but I'm not sure if it actually affects the drop chance. I have plenty of zombie organs, so I don't really care.
