However long....long time in a diferent galaxy far away in the original Dead Island. The game suffered major issues to K/M users and the solution would be to use analog controllers.
I could try controller and also issue is just after game launch so not from long play :/
have a 1500x ryzen and a vega 56 ,running this game with no stutter at 90 fps for hours.
Game looks great anyway.
Played 127 hours at 1920x1080 with TAA High and FSR Quality, and all Ultra graphics except Shadows and Effects at Medium at steady 60 FPS for the most part.
However, every 3-4 minutes (regardless of whether the scene was static with no enemies or busy with lots of enemies and fighting effects), FPS would suddenly drop to 10-20 for 5-10 secs.
But the moment I reduced Effects to Low, even when I turned up Shadows to High, turned off FSR and played at native rendering with all other setting the same, the FPS drop spikes completely stopped.
There is something seemingly unoptimized with the Effects setting.
Well....most nvidia cards, not all. lmao
