Would you mind sharing your PC specifications, if you're using controller or keyboard....what else...what else...hmm the usual things to know what is causing this trouble. In my situation and to few other players is that the game slowly decay perfomance after long hours playing straight but ''moving the camera fast it stutter'' is new.

However long....long time in a diferent galaxy far away in the original Dead Island. The game suffered major issues to K/M users and the solution would be to use analog controllers.

7800x3d / 4070ti super. K&M

I could try controller and also issue is just after game launch so not from long play :/
You could try to lock fps rate and maybe the stutter would stop. I cap above 60 otherwise 70 frames or lower doesn't go smooth.

I had a similar drop in frames, I looked at the load of all the equipment in my laptop via MSI afterburn, and saw that the problem was the voltage of the processor and video card, they need more power at times of load, so if you, like me, play on a laptop, then you need to change laptop power plan)

lock your fps
have a 1500x ryzen and a vega 56 ,running this game with no stutter at 90 fps for hours.

its not a mouse polling rate issue. i have the same thing with 1000 polling rate. ive tried every single "fix" people have claimed worked. none of them do. waste of $35

I downgraded from ultra to high graphics and that solved the problem. Im pretty sure the textures in ultra takes a lot of vram and nvidia cards are so scarce on it.

Game looks great anyway.

What Nvidia cards are scarce on VRAM? I have 24gb VRAM on my Nvidia. The 4070TI Super has 16gb VRAM which is the card he says he is using. It shouldn't require more than 16gb.

I have GTX 1660 Super, 16 GB RAM and i7-10700KF.

Played 127 hours at 1920x1080 with TAA High and FSR Quality, and all Ultra graphics except Shadows and Effects at Medium at steady 60 FPS for the most part.

However, every 3-4 minutes (regardless of whether the scene was static with no enemies or busy with lots of enemies and fighting effects), FPS would suddenly drop to 10-20 for 5-10 secs.

But the moment I reduced Effects to Low, even when I turned up Shadows to High, turned off FSR and played at native rendering with all other setting the same, the FPS drop spikes completely stopped.

There is something seemingly unoptimized with the Effects setting.

i'm having the same issue but it doesnt really go away, been like this since this new update. Frames go from steady 60 fps to 5 - 10 fps out of nowhere
