I've been playing with keyboard for 99% of my playtime on the epic version, so let me plug in my controller and test it real quick to see if I have the same issue.
Sounds like you have something conflicting bewcause the only time my button prompts change is when I move the mouse or hit my desk lol.
If your using DS4windows or something like that try closing that, and also try turing off steam input nad using the games default controller detection. Like I said I have the game on epic and the controller support is working perfectly without any 3rd party software or even boot it through steam.
I guess the game works with the Dualsense wired over usb and without Steam Input enabled but I don't play games with a corded connection anymore. It's not the 90s.
Yeah i was also using a dualsense on the epic version and since its does not have steam input what so ever, all you have to do to play wireless is download DS4windows and it works flawlessly.
Its not the 90s which is why PC gamers are able to curcumvent many of these issues with a little research and elbow grease. In this case you should disable steam input, activate DS4windows and play wireless fine.
Sounds like a steam input problem and not a game issue, as on epic I can play with controller wired or wireless flawlessly.
it's fine. I don't expect the actualy Developers to use that ellbow grease for a native Dualsense support just like many many other games do nowdays. the game is a dissapointment so far anyways. I expected so much more and the game is just mediocore at best. a native Dualsense support wont save it really.
Hello sir,did you had any problem starting game with kb and mouse pls?I cant get past new game - char select thingy =(
So you had an entire YEAR to see if the game was for you, see what it did good and what id did not too good and you still come off disappointed? I would understand more if this was the actual release of the game, you had a year to research and see what the game offers and to temper your expectations accordingly
No I had no issues using keyboard and mouse. If your having issues make sure you disconnect all other controllers to make sure they are not taking priority of the m/kb. At least thats all I can think of for the issue you are taking about.
