There's no "Epic stuff" as you say. They aren't forcing you to download or use the Epic Game Store. It's a service that runs in the background that make cross-play possible in the online co-op. Get over it.

So what? It runs in the background and provides matchmaking services for online co-op and allows for cross play online. What's difference between that and Rock Star Social Club for playing GTA or RDR online? You guys are being ridiculous. I'm a huge Steam fanboy myself and want nothing to do with Epic Game Store and refuse to install it on my computer. But you guys are just being ridiculous.

Yes there is "epic stuff" You even acknowledged it. Shouldn't need to force people to install a service you know you wont use.

We will not get over it because we don't want a useless service running in the background if we ain't gonna play either online or cross-play. Why can't they get over it and make it optional instead of forcing it? It should have a prompt to install or not for those who want to use this service or not. You choose what to run/install on your PC and I choose what to run/install on my pc. How hard can it be to understand!?

alright so you dont want epic stuff, after a quick check on your profile ill tell you a couple games you need to remove from your account then because they use EOS(epic stuff).

Barotrauma
Hunt: Showdown
Space Engineers
Elden Ring
Total War: Warhammer
Total War: Warhammer 2

they all use "Epic stuff" so since you dont want that stuff you should uninstall them and remove them from your steam account asap.
