This is something what should be the default Option on Steam...
If people want to add "EOS" / Epig for their game then it should be optional as a 3rd Party Download or something...
This thread is pretty worthless if there's no confirmation that the online between Steam players works with this Epic Online Services bypass.
Don't fret. Here you go:
Quoting a community manager that plays fast and loose with the truth is not the same thing as actually confirming whether or not it is possible for Steam players to play with other Steam players while using this unofficial Epic Online Services bypass.
Buy the game, test it and then refund it if you're so cynical. You've got 2h to test it. That's more than enough.
Why would I buy a game that forces the installation of Epic Online Services on top of having Denuvo DRM which they only disclosed at the very last minute in an attempt at deceitful and manipulative marketing?
You own the game. You're not being paid to sing praises about it, but yet here you are. How about you go and test it, eh?
I'm not the one itching by it. I'm just fine
For someone finger wagging at people about supposed solutions, you sure are not doing a great job at being a sales-person. I sure hope they're not paying you too much.
If I'm not doing a great job at being a salesperson it's because I'm not trying to sell anything. But you keep on fighting windmills... Haha
So it turns out that the solution provided in this thread isn't the most viable for this online coop game. I'm glad that you can at least play single-player. :Shrugs:
Thanks for the information in any case. o7
