Voices sound problem

I don't hear any voices from the main character and when I hear them very quietly from the background all the other voices are also very quiet or can't be heard at all. The game is at 100% loudness
Please fix the problem

same here. Realtek Speakers are working fine. G35 headset isn't. First time and only with DI2.

have this problem too with my logitech g35 headset. speakers working fine.

in general one issue I have always had with this game is the sound balancing/mixing is kind of weak in this game. The sound effects are good but they are no balanced so something s sound way too quiet then they should.

I mostly had to play with my headphones because with my normal speakers I would have to crank the volume up way too high to hear everything.

I had the same problem with a LG Headset. Solution:
Deinstall the Logitech Programm, restart windows, enable Windows Suround. FIX

Now I know what causes the sound problem: It lies with the 7.1 surround sound. You must turn it off and switch to stereo, then everything works. But I find it really stupid because I have to change it every time I want to play this game. You should add 7.1.

i figued it out!!! the way you have to do it is thru sound properties on your output sound and scroll till you see spatial sound and set it to windows sonic for heaphones.

My pc have holes for 3.5 mm fro 2 sides . I just put 3.5mm in back side on the pc and audio is run ! So you can try this one . I hope so to be helpful.

Yeah this issue is what made me refund and refuse to buy until they actually fix it.Tired of seeing them tell people to talk to their support to find a workaround rather than them fixing it.

This has been going on since it came out on Epic. Theres been no patches or anything since it came out on here. And the low audio problem has just been ignored. If you have any audio problems, refund the game, as they're not gonna be fixed. Unfortunately i cant do that now. I wish i could though.

Simple work around, click Windows button search “sound” select -control panel. You’re desired output device…speakers or headphones… go into advanced settings under the device of your choosing, and enable Windows Spacial Sound. Done! hope this helps :))

This will enable your main characters voicelines and auto balance any and most audio issues associated with Dead Island 2 for PC..

My problem was fixed by enabling Loudness Equalization, which may or may not require installing the Realtek Audio Console program that windows seems to keep uninstalling from my computer when it updates.

You can tweak it a little further by enabling windows sonic for headphones, even if the output speakers isn't headphones.

Had the same problem with Logitech G635. Solution: use Logitech G HUB and DISABLE surround audio.
