if you have epic games version of dead island 2 you can go to appdata>local>deadisland>saved and copy the .sav file then launch the steam version at least once. then go back to your appdata folder and youll see a new folder called deadislandsteam and just delete the save data there and paste the one from the previous folder and there you go.
