I played it on PS5 a year ago and already had a blast. I missed the DLC's completely and now the game is on Steam, I purchased the Gold Edition and will play through the game once more including the DLC areas :)
I love the game, it's just a zombie-slayer done pretty right in my opinion.
Many different weapons and just the best gore there is for a game like this.
It's been over on the EGS for a year so they've managed to squash tons of the issues it had on the EGS launch.
Oh i thought it was cause it forces u to install the Epic Launcher?
The story is beyond terrible but thats not really why people play these type of games anyways lol. Long as that doesnt bother you then yeah its a pretty good game.
Thanks, yea the story was never my concern, i loved DI1 and Riptide and had a blast just chopping things around. Riptide especially was awful will never forget that random guy just saying "NUKE" with very poor animations lmao.
Well i picked it up! can't wait to play it a bit before bed.
I was just reading the other post and some reviews regarding it.
Also just a heads up, as another poster said this game is semi-open world with smaller open zones, like the original but minus the vehicles. So if your expecting some huge open world like the dying light games that is not what this game is about, the smaller zones are much more detailed the other games, and most of not all of it has some importance due to how side quests work.
I don't own it on steam but i put close to 100hr (across 2 playthroughs and the 2 DLCs) into it on Epic and I love the game. Its one of the best zombie games to release in years and the best part is the port is polished, with good visuals, good optimization, and very little bugs.
