I just remember reading about Dead Island 2 wayyyy back when.
(It was in a MAGAZINE, that's how long ago this was)
I sincerely hope this game is a smash-hit success, especially after the bucket-of-mediocre that was Dying Light 2... I'm just prepped for disappointment after the past few years. Lol
I liked Homefront Revolution, it was a mid experience just like Dying Light 2. But nothing extraordinary but still enjoyable as a 8/10 game.
why tf are you talking about it like it's just now releasing?
It was
100 percent.
Plenty of publishers are seeing the benefit of EGS over steam outside of just the financial initiative for early launch. You get your game out onto a store front where you can avoid the ridiculous overly politicised and poorly moderated nonsense that Steam has become.
Yes!
I went back to play it a year ago and its surprising how much it has held up but also how it almost feels better now because some of the ideas it was trying out were a bit ahead of its time. It's still flawed in many ways but definitely something that is worth a play.
