This or Dying Light 2

playing dying light 2 ig, neither are as good as dying light 1 tho. but DL2 is getting better, definitely buy on discount

I played it when it came out, Go with dead island 2 if you want a ludicrously fun gore system. Areas feel open despite not being full open world. Environments and setpieces really reminded me of my trip to California last year and the bosses are more fun. Dying Light over Dying Light 2, a lot more running/jumping around a large open world and drop kicking zombies. my priority list goes Dying Light, Dead Island 2, Dying Light 2.

I don't think this is worth the 59 their probably pushing, it's been out for over a year. It's ok, but it's just more of the same with updated visuals and perk cards similar to Fallout 76. I was never a fan of that type of mechanic but to each their own. It's a fun game, I don't want to sound too negative here. The Zombie system is fun too! It's just not worth the full price of a new game. There is also no RT in this game. So some modern features are missing as well.

Never had any performance issues since day one. I bought off Epic. It's not a bad game, just not worth the full price if that's what they end up going with. It's more a 39.99 type game.

Dead Island 2 was way too easy and thus boring, and Dying Light 2 has way way WAY too much talking. Dying Light 2 has more engaging combat since they updated it, but there still isn't a reason to participate in it as mission structure typically has you running from point A to point B to talk to an NPC. Dying Light 2 is the better option overall, but be ready for a lot of talking.

Dying Light 2 at launch is completely different from what it is now, I'd say Dying Light 2 for everything but gore.
And DL2 has a helluva gore system, it's just DI2 isn't playing by the rules

Definitely Dead Island 2.
Dying Light 2 is one of the worst things I have played in my life.
I was seriously baffled on how enormously terrible DL2 was.

Dead island 2 . Completed it 2x. Dying light 2 is just not good compared to dying light 1 .
Couldn't force myself to play dying light 2 more than 2-3 hours , even after the updates.

Tbh this game has alot better combat, one of the best melee with the finishers for a Zombie game however the Story is the biggest joke ever just watch a few trailers it's peak cringe

This game has far better gore and less cringe dialogue than DL2.
