If anyone liked the original games this takes the best parts (combat, weapon crafting) makes them better and adds an actual interesting/wacky story to pull you along the journey.
This is a video game through and through so its just about zombie slaying fun, with very little filler. Many people complained that the main story was short but I would argue that there is very little "fat" with this game so it does not over stay its welcome and with the side quests and things there is still tons of content to get through.
I 100% recommend people wanting a fun zombie slaying game, and I want to preface that I got the "gold edition with the expansion" so I got my money worth even at full price.
Given the "development hell" this game went through before release its amazing how polished and fun the game actually ended up being.
I was surprised how much I was able to get into this game and enjoy it, but it's an absolute blast to experience
