Found the quest starter at the workbench at the car entrance. But it gives you a map that says go to a freaky symbol...the whole map is freaky symbols...

edit: I got them all

that whole map IS a 'freaky symbol' ..
~agreed
you can ..
if you're able to find it through all the crap thrown at the wall ..
being new to the map makes it very hard to discern ..
you miss the point ..
Not with that much going on ..
looking for something distinct amongst the map and being new to it (STILL) ..
even after completing the boss fight the map was still new even to me ..
the markings you have to look for for the side quests were hardly different from the surroundings in the map itself (all of it is still freaky) ..
it was a hit and miss to find where to go because there was no quest markers ..
you had to go by pieces of info on a piece of what was a map as part of the quest ..
just to find another one just like it at another point ..
a side quest that shouldn't have taken 30 mins instead took an hour ..
(it was like looking for the missing persons code in the train tunnels)
you have to scour the entire tunnel system in a given area of course
but still it was tedious to say the least ..
the tunnels were more durable because i've been in them a lot ..
Sola on the other hand is much bigger than those tunnels and more spaced out ..
and indeed more colorful to say the least ..
the markings should have been a little more distinct than the surrounds to it ..
Axton has a point ..
