1, Make sure the Epic Store program is uninstalled. Then, follow these steps:
2, Before launching the game for the first time, navigate to "X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dead Island 2" and delete the EpicGameLauncher folder.
3. Next, open the "DeadIsland.ini" file (file is in Dead Island 2 directory) in Notepad and modify "NoOperation=0" to "NoOperation=1".
4. If the Epic Games Launcher is already installed on your computer, uninstall it before proceeding with the steps above.
Second you don't have to play multiplayer, you want to play multiplayer. Huge difference.
Respect your elders, kiddo.
Not sure what your problem is since you didnt specific the detail about your issue
But! if you had the same issue i had the other day for launching the game, what i did is that i actually went to epic games and manually download the epic launcher from there.
I never used a epic games before so i didnt had it installed it.
Once i installed it i reopened the game, and then it actually worked! also to let you know i have no account there, they asked me to make one but i ignored and i was able to play.
Not sure if this helps but also, try to link your account to the "pros" website wich the game inside tells you, might help to play? and in online options dont forget to turn on the "crossplay" option
God bless you all
Not sure if God would really be super stoked with you devout Christian types playing this game, but I digress.
Anyways, this. Entirely this. I wish more people realized you can just... not log in on the screen. Cancel it, and play without any credentials. It's so glaringly obvious that it makes everyone having hissy fits over EOS's argument so much more ignorant once you know this.
Just don't use it LOL
Ironic to claim ignorance when I never said you, or anyone in particular were the ones having these hissy fits, and yet, you provided one anyways and became one of them. Good job!
It was the "God bless" try to keep up if you're going to involve yourself in the conversation.
"everyone having hissy fits over EOS's argument so much more ignorant"
That is a direct statement to a particular group of people. The ones combining.
Try to keep up if you are going to have a conversation.
