Question about the game
Hey all, sick of the Epic game store ♥♥♥♥ and looking for real reviews, is the game any good, loved the first 2 games and like the look of this one.

Is there plenty to do, is the story decent and is there plenty of peeps to play with ?

Plays better than previous games. plays more like dying light without the parkour
smaller maps and less side quests than previous games but more exploration POI.
better graphics than previous games.
the story was never a strong point of this series. its hit or miss here
there is no driving. good imo since driving sucked in previous games
there is no sprinting stamina thankfully.
some dont like the card system but i do as it gives way more customization.
cant say anything about MP as i only play solo.

I, for one, did not care about other people's opinions on this game, and I was right. I really enjoy the game, especially because it sticks to its strengths. The story is the typical zombie outbreak / apocalypse trope; you are trapped, try to escape, are then bitten, and need to save the world. Despite this, I found it entertaining enough, I also liked the voice acting, and the obvious thing: dismembering zombies left and right. The further you progress through the story, the stronger you get and the more variety there will be. Unlocking everything will take a while, but it's doable; the challenges are apparently supposed to be completed across more than one character, but I completed them on one character all the same. It probably feels like less of a grind if completed across several characters. Apart from this, I didn't feel the game was too grindy.
Currently, the game lacks two things: First, new game plus; and second, an endgame activity, such as an arena mode or a crucible.
So far, I've strictly played solo, so I don't really know about current player count.
All in all, I do recommend the game, though. I hope this helps.

I swear being an epic exclusive was the Biggest mistake the Developers could have made for this gem. Quite literally the vast majority of all complaints I've seen for this thing are related to that one way or another. And I think a good portion of the people who complain about other stuff are actually just complaining about the epic stuff but trying to sound more justified. It has the zombies of left for dead, the survivor missions minus the escorts from dead rising, the Eldridge horror aspect of dead space, the superpower is bizarrely enough from Bioshock even including its level up system, and some of the best and most detailed fighting I have seen in any first person game. It's not perfect by any means but I think this might be legitimately my favorite zombie title.
