Before you start the game - IMPORTANT

Make sure to press "NO" when the pop-up show up otherwise you'll have to open a ticket and ask for a refund because then you'll be unable to play the game FOREVER.

Don't make my mistake, it's not asking for the online access it's asking if you want to softlock the game to the title screen.
Ofc you don't want that to happen right? You bought the game to play it not to benchmark you rig just to see how fast it is at opening games right?

I already did everything I could find on their website to solve this issue so I just have 2 choices left: unlink Steam to Epic Games losing all my progress on other games or ask for a refund and buy a functional game.
After linking the accounts you're pretty much done so avoid this if you can, they should add an achievement called "Softlock" at this point, they even tried to fix this issue and they failed

I may try buying a new PC then or simply another game that doesn't have EOS issues like this

Looks like this worked, I managed to start the game without being kicked and I actually got to the main menu. Still was better to say "no" when the pop-up came, it took 3 hours to find a solution
