Epic Online Service could not be found.

Followed alot of guides on how to fix this error, none worked.
0/10 ♥♥♥♥ game..pure dissapointment.

To the people reading this and have not bought this game.. i reccomend you to save your money and buy something else that works instead. :(

do you not know a single thing about this game's development? it was developed and cancelled by three different studios and the fourth studio restarted development and actually released the game, techland hasn't had anything to do with dead island in over 10 years

What do you guys think about after the 50% price off offer they suddenly fix the "issues" so people buy it for 100% retail price instead and cant refund it?. Calling it right now :)

If they fix the issues, i can buy the game but i will wait one more time for 50% or more. Not gonna pay full price for that.

Hm.... Avira just quarantined Epic.exe... guess that´s why it´s missing.

I played for a week, now i come back in again and ... i get this error ...
I checked and the epic services files are still there.
What the hell.

Worked literally only the first time i ran the game. Now i can't run the game , verify doesnt work. cant uninstall epic games or the EOS. Tried re-downloading and nudda. 10/10

Ok fixed it based off some online posts.

1. Went into apps, uninstalled the Epic game services
2. Downlaoded epic launcher which comes with new versions of EOS
3. Went to X:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Extras\EOS, installed the new versions of EOS
4. started the game but ... the moment the EOS verification showed up before game started i cancelled it not allowing it to change the version
5. game started normally


Anyway from what i checked in windows EventViewer the EOS app fails to launch as either it cant find it or the version is wrong, thats why the game wont start up, it sends request for EOS to start but it fails.
Devs need to fix this ♥♥♥♥ and make sure EOS that comes with the game is up to date.
