Stuttering on a 3080

I dunno what's causing it but this game keeps stuttering on my 3080. I have almost everything set to Ultra. Maybe that's the reason?
It's definitely not my PC because I have no problem running other games.

try vsync on or off, windows borderless, capping the frames to 90 or 120. Verify the game files, make sure shaders loaded on initial start, turn off data sending.

yes that is the reason.dont set everything to ultra. i had same issue. and it.s due to the texture ..vram is the limiting factor.. i play with everything on max at 4k except textures which i leave on high.

Try turning down AA to low and soft spaces to low. This is what also giving PC players the fuzzy hair look.

Have you tried lowering your settings to let's say high and see if it still stutters?

As mentioned already it's likely VRAM. The game will use over 10gb at times even at 1440p with ultra settings. Reduce settings and use monitoring software to check.

i did but it still stutters sometimes.

Welcome to Unreal Engine 4 and the dreaded shader compilation stutter. It will stutter regardless of your hardware. Watch the video of Digital Foundry about the System Shock Remaster. There is a section where they go into detail about the inherent performance problems of most UE4 games.
