You would need an Epic account only if you want to play epic-steam crossplay with your friend owning a game on Epic. The account is needed to sync up friends list.

Thank you for your answer. But I'm still afraid to buy. Many people write that after purchasing they have problems with launching the game. When buying on Steam, I don't want any problems due to "Another Store"

Really? Explain that to the people like me that have to go into the game files to remove all eos files just to get the game to start.....

I had the loading screen issue too, but it worked when I relaunched the game. Only happened the first time booting it up so I'm not sure. I wish they'd put out patch notes on here when we get updates. Just downloaded an update and IDK what it does.

Do not buy. Save yourself the nerves. I bought the game, I couldn't run it at all due to an error. It turned out that I had to install additionally, through a completely different Epic Online Services installer, in order to play at all, even solo. Many people have problems even after installing it, even though I was waiting for the release of Steam, I received a refund. It's not worth it in this situation.

All you have to do is remove all EOS services from the game files and the game loads just fine.

I understand that there is a solution, the point is that when buying a game, I want everything to work properly... but I guess I have no choice.

I don't know what EOS files are, so I'll google for information about it, where I can find them.
And I think I'll buy the game since you gave me the solution.

Right click on the game/ manage files/ browes local files. Delete everything you see that has to do with EOS. When I open the game the the eos connecting window shows up but I just x out of it.

EOS is installed in many games it’s a SDK there is nothing wrong games supporting it.

The epic online services auto runs as you load the game , no issues atall.
