Maintenance toolbox key. How???

I just saw on a video where to get it. Just walk around in the red demonic sewer and the maintenance guy will spawn. Kill him and get his key. Well, I wiped clean that whole place. Not a single zombie alive. The maintenance guy didn't spawn. I'm locked outside of that content because of yet another bug in this game... Bruh...

Maybe you need to go back to that area later. The key carrier mightn't spawn when you first find the locked box. Likely you need to leave the area, and then return.

Ok. They either changed the location of everything or everything you need to come back later in order for the key to spawn. I just went to the place where you get the key to the locked door from the Blue Crab Bar and the key was not there.

If that's your first visit to Venice Beach then you definitely need to return to the sewers, maintenance guy will turn up eventually. Good luck. PS.. Watch out for the quarantine zone.

edit; I've never gotten a key from the Blue Crab.

Thanks. And I'm beginning to think that I'm gonna have to enjoy this and forget about this keys then. Haha.

as others said, theres a few key holders that only spawn at a late date. just go back later
