Also taking away freedom of choice when it comes to PC games if the developers sold this game on both Steam and Epic games store at the same time at launch we probably would not be seeing these complaints in the first place.
I don't use Epic much either, but it would help if you got the circumstances right. Everything being on Steam actually hurts the consumer objectively.
my brother in LSD steam literally is a monopoly as every release HAS to be on it. steam isnt even the best pc platform anymore. gog is the best for gamers while epic is the best for developers
gog has a far better refund policy, their storefront still has quality control, the vast majority of the games are DRM free so you actually own them, and many older games are updated to work better on modern hardware. epic offers a far better revenue split for developers. gog being better for gamers and epic being better for developers is simply a fact.
i listed facts sir. and the facts prove that gog is better for gamers than steam and epic is better than steam for developers.
you can ignore the facts all you want but they are still facts
As for Epic, while there is an initial revenue split being more fair for the developer in comparison to Steam, there is still a very large segment of the population who will not even consider the Epic game store as worthy of a purchase. Therefore the supposed fact of Epic being better is fully overthrown as soon as the limited contract comes to an end and they hurry over to use the Steam storefront, where they will make the lionshare of their pc revenue. Ergo, it is not objective fact that it is better. It is better in some ways and not better in others. Someone could also come along and say epic is factually better because Epic is willing to drown the gamer with endless free games. It's still not a fact. It is opinion.
Facts are objective, not subjective.
so a FAR better refund policy, quality control, and owning your games isnt more consumer friendly?
Very well, take care.
i'm simply repeating the exact same facts i stated earlier that you basically said arent better for gamers. if you can not read thats not my fault
