Dead Island 2 Long Download
DOOM 2016 takes half an hour to install on my end, and Dead Island 2 (or at least the base version) has a similar file size, yet it’s taking 2 hours. I do suspect that maybe my PCs hard drive is getting slower, due to me organizing and downloading games a lot every month, but it also happened around the time I switched out Opera GX for Brave. But I want to know what you guys think.

I have a gtx 3060 and an 11th gen intel i7-11700F 2.50GHz

steam toggles our downloads like it knows whats best for us ..
NOT !!

*every DSL router made today connected to *wire for download* ..
is capable of handling 1 gig of data in under 1 min or less ..

there should be no reason for even a 30 minute download time on any system ..
it shouldn't take any more than 20 minutes for 70 gig data transfer ..

also internet providers can well be at fault along with steam ..

**IF you're using wifi for download then your download time would be correct for you ..
(maybe next time you'll mention which one you are using)
