Superior Melee Impactor Mod

In what f'ing weapons does this mod work? It says it doesn't work in any of my melee weapons.

Blunt weapons will work.
Got this mod on a few Sledgehammers.

Maybe only big blunt weapons only then because it doesn't work on the golf club. Golf club can have only lvl 2 blunt mod.

Could be yes.
I also saw, that LVL 3 mods can't be attached to a rare (rarity) weapon.
Must be superior. Not sure if this counts for every weapon type.
