I need help the game asks me for cd verification and I only bought it through steam

Hi guys, does anyone knows that how to play COH with friend? I've tried to host a new game but I couldn't invite my friend (who is in my friend list) to play a skermish game with him. Do I need to sign in the Relic account? As I tried and couldn't log in, thanks....

The game won't validate the media error code says lost connection. when I try to activate manually it doesn't like the code and I cant find where to email someone to solve this
