COH Online connection

Hi guys, does anyone knows that how to play COH with friend?
I've tried to host a new game but I couldn't invite my friend (who is in my friend list) to play a skermish game with him. Do I need to sign in the Relic account? As I tried and couldn't log in, thanks.

There are 2 versions of the game:

CoH and,
CoH LEGACY EDITION/OF/ToV

If you want to play online, you should install 'Company of Heroes", not Legacy Edition/OF/ToV

Install the original COH and it's works

Не могу запустить игру без диска, дело в том что игру покупал в далеких 2000 годах, а сейчас ноутбуки без дисковода, как быть?

Play the version simply called "Company of Heroes" (IT USES STEAM SERVERS AND STILL HAS WORKING MULTIPLAYER). Don't install the Legacy Edition or the Opposing Fronts/Tales of Valor standalone games (MULTIPLAYER DOES NOT WORK FOR THEM AS THE RELIC SERVERS ARE CLOSED), all expansions are included with the game simply called "Company of Heroes" (you can confirm this by going to the DLC menu for "Company of Heroes" in your library, you should see 3 entries, one for the core game and one each for Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor). The Legacy Edition and standalone Opposing Fronts/Tales of Valor entries are outdated.
