What is the best thing to upgrade early on?

In Transport Defender, Damage was more or less the absolute best thing to upgrade, with Scrap being the 2nd best.

Are Damage and XP in that order the best early upgrades? Should I rush sections instead of improving my shipyard stuff?

It's gold now mainly then damage and scrap (to instant hit them) and the skip completions/wave (note you don't really need them before 500 too much but then get them as high as possible) lastly xp you have to be carefull that you don't get to high since you won't be able to reset otherwise (50 lvs over mission lvl)

What Matthew7991 said is pretty accurate. A good thing to do early on is to level the shipyard 1 level then cap the stats that were mentioned. Catch up all the other sections to shipyard so that only the command centre is available to level then go up 1 more and repeat. It takes a little bit of time early on but races up as you approach the thirties.

Well, the thing is, I heard that you get tons of SP if you reset multiple times really early on, sort of as quickly as possible, but... I don't see how this at all works early-on. Do people who say that, only mean to recommend resetting before hitting level 99?

The game is dragging on atm, but I've got roughly equivalent to 8 levels in all starbase sections (2 in bar), and I only have roughly 1/4th of all possible levels of shipyard things maxed out.
Tho I only have 7 in automation.

Wondering if a hard reset would probly be a big waste, considering I have the CH module, and the first two target priority weapons and a highest level of 436.

Early on i would say get as far as possible until it slows down. much later reset 100lvl before your max or at multiples of 100.
Just wondering how long do your runs take and to what level are they currently ?
Rule of thumb is stay under 1 hour. (there are exceptions like when you start the game when you push or at 4k+)

It takes me like 8-13 hours to get to level 400. Decided to do a Hard reset and follow the advice here. Will reset asap, can reset in under 15 minutes and I get 5 SP everytime from resets, and of course roughly 2-7 SP from raids.

Reset at 100 first time you get more sp at every 100 than you would at 99 or X99. Then do a few at 100 until you can get to 200 easily. Doing what I said above works well with that.

Yeah, this method is far better. Also, I've found that I progress far faster if I never use the rocket weapons. The faster the attack speed, the faster the run. I'm using the first two weapons and I've already gotten to level 60 in under 10 minutes.
