BUG: Blood in the Sand - not able to continue after handing out evidences

Hi! I'm stuck in the quest 'Blood in the Sand'. After I found and handed out all evidences to the guard, there is no way to continue. I looked into a walkthrough to make sure, that I haven't missed something, but like written there, I should be able to interrogate Karymea from this point out. Sadly there is no dialogue option while talking to her. I only can look at her trading stuff. The guard (by the way) first told me, that he recognizes Karymeas handwriting, but then continues asking, if I found new evidence. My only possibility to respond is 'no'. Restarting the game or travelling to different places does not fix the issue.

Is there any console command to reset the quest or maybe skip to the next step? Thanks for any help!

Have you tried to load a save before handing any of the evidence to him? Try to do that.

Attach the save prior to the bug, so I'll be able to quickly reproduce the issue. Saves are located in Documents\My Games\Enderal\saves\ and consist of .ess and .skse file.

Thanks for the quick response! Unfortunately I would have to start a completely new game (after more than 100 hour playtime - yes, I'm extremely slow :D), because there is no older save. I wasn't aware of bugs like this so I did not make many backup files - since that moment. There has been another little bug afterwards that could be resolved by loading an older save, so I think, it would have helped here, too. Whatever, I put it into the bug tracker. once again: Thank you! Really great support!

I responded to your ticket on the bug tracker. The issue will be resolved in the next patch.

Be sure, I started making more individual safe points since this bug instead of overwriting only one or two :D. I'm sure you have enough better things to do in your personal life than fixing game files. Once again: Thank you so much and have a nice weekend!
