Also did you copy the enderal Files into your Skyrim folder ?
It wont Work with Skyrim Files and enderal Scripts
Also you should use this ini file for the creation kit
It will Display all textures correctly and fixes some crashes: https://forum.sureai.net/viewtopic.php?t=13371
I just didn't know about this awkward script behavior with the sources.
On the other side, there is a "Scripts.rar" which I think should include all Skyrim scripts and I extracted the Enderal script BSA too as I stated:
Yet, I would like to bring to your attention that the guide only says that you need to extract the "E - Scripts.bsa", without stating that you also need the scripts from Skyrim.
And as extracting the "Scripts.rar" didn't help either, I guess there is still something missing.
I'll simply extract
ANY
SINGLE
BSA
FILE
as soon as I am home, to be sure I don't miss anything.
Yet it's still some sort of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ having to do that.
Bethesda really likes to make things more complicate while they are dumbing down the gameplay. XD
But until Nehrim comes for the forgiving Gamebryo engine, I'll mess around a little with this one. :P
Scripts are bad anyways as they are saved into the savegame, yet there is no other possibility to make fast travel a bit safer than scripting it allowance dynamically.
May I ask? What is that "Scripts.rar" anyways?
It seems it just includes original Skyrim scripts and isn't necessary to be extracted in any way.
I've extracted "E - Scripts.bsa" as before, but this time either "Skyrim - Misc.bsa" (I've deleted the "grass" folder as that one is useless).
The thing is "Skyrim - Misc.bsa" only contains the PEX files, the compiled scripts.
I really don't get why Bethesda thought it would be good to exclude scripts from plugins and why they have to be present in both, their PSC-textform and the compiled PEX.
Really dumb in an annoying way. -.-
Coming back to this guide.
It is very good to get CK for Enderal running.
I got it right the first try and was able to tinker around perfectly. I've either edited the INI myself and changed not only the BSA archives to load to have the correct textures, but either
Yet as I said there is nowhere stated that "Skyrim - Misc.bsa" has to be extracted too, to fix this crashing issue.
As only extracting "E - Scripts.bsa" didn't work for me and tinkering around with the ominious "Scripts.rar" archive isn't that good either as these scripts seem not to belong to Enderal.
I guess that's a legacy file from the original Skyrim install?
Anyways, I would recommend to add the info that "Skyrim - Misc.bsa" has to be extracted too for the original PEX-scripts.
