Deus Ex Machina Crashing

Hi,
I've been stuck on the Deus Ex Machina quest. My game crash upon loading into excavation site. Right after I pulled the lever, the game goes into a loading screen and CTD. I tired redownloading the game and verifying the game a couple times. I adjusting the settings and turned off all the mods yet nothing worked. Am I missing something? Someone help.

Hi, thank you for your response. I did verify the integrity of the game files, and every time I do that, it would tell me that 4 files failed to be found. Steam then proceeds to download the files, but when I test the game, it crashes again. And again, if I re-verify game, it would still tell me 4 files failed to be verified.
P.S. I tried to redownload and reinstall the game.
