But I have a solution for you :) Use the 'meditate' ability when you are in the no-clip state (the one used to spend memory points), and then exit the meditate state/area. you still be back at the sun temple and things will work.
I would suggest doing this somewhere in the map where you are above ground level just to make sure.
I had a couple of really weird bugs right at the end. Part of the floor near the Pyrean Beacon simply vanished and we all fell through to oblivion. Luckily, a restart fixed that one.
The *really* weird one was at the end of Two Souls VI when I woke up in bed with Calia. There was one of the basic NPCs sitting in a chair next to the bed saying the "Potatos, onion,..." line over and over. I didn't know Calia was into threesomes, which would really suck if you take the escape ending.
Did you try my suggestion though? it should be a functioning work around.
