The Word of the Dead - bug in puzzle?

Hi, i went to the left wing of Aged Man's Manor and found the room with puzzle. But when I interact with books in the order words appear on the Aged Man's letter (pride was my fall) and pull the chain, nothing happens. Were there significant changes in this quest or this is just a bug?

Worked fine for me. Are you sure you're interacting with the books in the right order? Check the wiki

Snowskeeper has Enderal: Forgotten Stories

The order is "my pride was my fall." You have to use "my" twice.

At least, that's what worked for me; if it didn't work for you then I don't know where to go with this.

Tried this as well. For some reason on the word "was" in this case there was sound, indicated that the order was wrong. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh well, if it's just my problem, i can think of something. Thanks!
